Samyang T1.5 24mm ED AS IF UMC was developed based on the optical construction of the Samyang 24mm f1.4 ED AS UMC lens, while its aesthetics refers to the latest Samyang products. Light transmission ratio corresponds to T1.5 t-stop. Another characteristic features of the device include the follow-focus gearing and smoothly adjustable aperture ring. Such alterations allow for extremely precise and quiet modification of focus and depth of field whilst filming.
Optical construction of the lens is based on 13 lenses in 12 groups. Four lenses were made of low dispersion glass (ED), two are aspherical. Anti-reflexive UMC coatings were also employed. Samyang T1.5 24mm ED AS IF UMC lens has been designed especially for the most popular brands, fitted with small-image sensors or smaller. The lens comes with Canon and Nikon mounts.
